There Is A God: From Atheism to Theism
When the man many consider the kingpin of academic atheism changed his mind to belief in a creator God, it thrilled theists—especially Christians. Religious skeptics' response was quite the opposite.
Evidential apologist Gary Habermas, Flew's debate opponent and yet his friend for more than 20 years, relates how Flew did what so many fail or refuse to do: go where the evidence leads. A designed universe—none other of the arguments for God's existence—did it for Flew. Still, he adamantly insists he believes in no afterlife.
It's fascinating to read the slow transformation of a scholarly octogenarian who happens to be very candid about his beliefs, despite his critics. Probe's Michael Gleghorn highlights the book by co-written by Flew and someone whose writing influenced his "conversion."
