Rusty Wright — What does Christmas mean to you? Times with family and
friends? Perhaps carols, cards, television specials. Maybe hectic shopping, parties, and eating too much.
All these and more are part of North American Christmas. But what about the first Christmas? Why is the original storythe baby in a manger,
shepherds, wise men, angelsimportant, if at all?
May I invite you to consider eight reasons why the original

RUSTY WRIGHT
"A magazine editor asked me to write a Christmas article that his Christian readers could give to their friends having differing faith perspectives. During a July morning walk in Pasadena, my wife, Meg, and I brainstormed on why the Christmas story still matters. The reasons we came up with became the article, and later this radio series.”"
